Our history

Our humble beginnings trace back to the early 1980's when Salvador Pedroza, a meat butcher at the time, decided to try something new. Salvador began within his neighborhood, mopping hot tar on his neighbors' flat roofs for less than a couple hundred dollars.

Driven by his desire to provide for his family and to achieve the American Dream, Salvador never looked back. From this small-time job grew a passion, from this passion grew a career, and in 1988, Economy Roofing was born.

35+ years later, our track-record encompasses thousands of roofs, and millions of square feet, throughout the greater Chicago area. While our team, experience, and capabilities have surely grown, our values, determination, and commitment to quality remain stronger than ever.
